Sing, Produce And Compose... While You’re Stuck At Home

If you want to learn new music skills, there's never been a better time than 2020 - billions of us are stuck at home, social distancing. This video goes through a bunch of fun, absorbing activities you can do that will help you learn new musical skills and become a better musician overall. All the activities I talk about here are free, most of them need no special equipment other than a computer and an internet connection (and maybe your instrument), and you can adapt them to help your learning, whatever your level of musical skill from beginner to pro. The activities are in three categories: sing, produce and compose. I feel very strongly that creativity should be at the heart of all music, so there's a strong emphasis here on creating your own music, as well as on learning skills you might find fun but challenging — getting better at music is all about pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and trying new stuff!
