MERCEDES-BENZ SLS AMG GT3 TEAM DUNLOP - GENEVA MOTOR SHOW 2015 HQ
Here another video from the 85th Edition of the Geneva International Motor Show having place in the swiss city from 5-15 March 2015 and where were exposed more than 800 of the newest supercars of the greatest brands of the world. As every year the people who came at the motorshow was amazed by the incredible premieres and prototypes unveiled in one of the 7 halls of the Palexpo de Geneve, in particoular by the brand new Koenigsegg Regera (the fastest car ever made), the McLaren P1 GTR, the Ferrari 488 GTB and by the Bugatti Veyron LaFinale (the last Veyron produced before to be replaced by the Chiron). I recorded all the cars at the GIMS, so be sure to not miss any video you can find in the playlist I've created for. In this video a stunning silver Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 of the Team Dunlop exposed at the show giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, the logo. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a german supercar produced since 2010 by the Three-pointed star of Stuttgart to compete against the italian rivals Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (and F12 Berlinetta later) and Lamborghini Murcielago LP640-4 (and Aventador since 2012). The car is assembled in Sindelfingen, Germany, and its name stands for "Sport Light Super". The vehicle was presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and, originally, was produced in the coupè version only but at the 2011 edition of the same show Mercedes unveiled a Roadster version also. Both present the same 7-speed dual-clutch automatic trasmission and a powerful V8 6,2 litre engine which develops 571 hp and an impressive torque of 650 Nm that push the car to 0-100 Km/h in 3,8 seconds for a top speed of over 317 Km/h. This is one of most beautiful supercar ever thanks to its incredible design by Mark Fetherston ispired to an awesome 55 years old car, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, with it's exclusive Gullwing doors and 20'' wheels. In 2012 Mercedes presented an updated version of SLS AMG, named Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT, with a new manual option in the trasmission mode and 591 hp and a torque of 650 Nm. The top speed is now of over 320 Km/h and allows the SLS GT to complete a lap at Nürburgring Nordschleife in under 7 minute 30 seconds. Since 2014 Mercedes produces a limited edition of GT, named SLS AMG GT Final Edition (only 350 units made) with exposed carbon fiber hood with central air outlet, carbon fiber front splitter on the front apron, fixed carbon fiber rear spoiler. Many special edition of this supercar were presented in last years. The first is Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Desert Gold Edition, presented at the 2010 Dubai International Motor Show, a stunning version with decorative and mounted features in shining chrome or Silver Shadow colours, black-painted AMG light-alloy wheels with a golden ring on the rim flange, gold body colour. At the 2010 Australian International Motor Show was unveiled the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Blackbird with designo magno Night Black body colour with red highlights. At the 2011 North International Auto Show was presented a prototype powered by four electric motors that develop 526 hp and 880 Nm of torque. The car was named Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and mounted a 400 V lithium battery, brake discs made in carbon fibre-strenghened ceramic, full-LED headlamps and an impressive yellow highlighter finiture. Since 2013 a definitive edition of the E-Cell was unveiled. Named Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive, has the same engine of the prototype and it costs over 500.000 €. At the 2012 Sao Paulo International Motor Show was announced an extreme version named Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 45th Anniversary (produced in only 5 units), for the 45 years of the brand. It included designo magno graphite matte body colour, a seat shell in a high-strength carbon-fibre safety cell on the co-driver's side, carbon fibre reinforced plastic doors, bonnet, mudguards, boot lid, rear wings, front and rear apron, front splitter and rear diffusor. At the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show was launched the ultimate edition of SLS: the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupè Black Series. It's a road legal version of the race editon (the SLS AMG GT3), produced in only 150 pieces and with a powerful engine which develops 622 hp and 635 Nm of torque. The performance are incredible with only 3,6 seconds to reach the 100 Km/h and a max speed of over 325 Km/h.
