Firewatch - 45 FPS High Settings - Steam Deck Gameplay #steamdeck
Today we are taking a quick look at #Firewatch on the #steamdeck . This time around I didn't do much of tinkering and didn't even remove Motion Blur. Firewatch can run at 60 FPS on the lowest settings, but in this video we are only testing Highest settings on the Steam Deck. Firewatch runs at around 35-45 FPS on the Steam Deck. It really depends on the scene, but because of the nature of the game you can still enjoy it even at lower frame rates. At these settings, you will be able to run the game for about 2 hours on the Steam Deck. Lowering refresh rate and graphical settings can yield another hour. Firewatch is an adventure game developed by Campo Santo. The story follows a fire lookout named Henry who works in Shoshone National Forest, a year after the Yellowstone fires of 1988. The game is definitely a must pick up and is really enjoyable to play on the Deck. Footage was captured directly on the Steam Deck using a plugin called Decky Recorder.
