Finally, a game had been loaded (see description how)

I bought this C64G last year January, but I was quite lazy actually to buy some utility to load games. Well it is a pain in the ass to do it with this thingy so I am planning to do a little loader application on my phone to be able to make it more easy. Things needed: - C64 and a Datasette - Casette "converter" - some dummy casette box and a plug in it which has a 3.5 jack in the end. - TAP ROM files from the internet and a converter tool (audiotap 2.0) to convert it to WAV (maybe it would work with high-quality MP3 too). - A player which can play WAV and have a 3.5 jack earphone input. It can be mp3 player, phone, your PC, etc. Loading: 1. press C= + RUN/STOP button. C64 will say PRESS PLAY ON TAPE 2. Press the play and start the WAV file. 3. The screen goes blue (no, not blue death :) ) and when you see that it found something on it, immediately press the SPACE. 4. After these, just watch out when the datasette stops with the loading and press pause on the phone/player. Do your things in the game, when it wants to load again (datasette starts), just press play again. Oh, and be aware of the sound levels. ------------------------------------------------------ The funny thing is that as I remember, some game requires to load the casette sometimes inbetween somewhere the tape (i'm not quite sure). Well, as this cannot be avoided, and you don't want to calculate/convert between block position and the seconds of the wave sound file, maybe this will need a tricky tool later. If I find a game which is like this, I will make an android app for it.
