The town is paying tribute to a dragon, Diarmuid, not to kill them, but we also hear reports of the dragon taking out bandits that could threaten the town. The high priestess also seems to think the dragon is good deep down. The mayor hired some mercenaries to kill the dragon, but after some events, we learn that they're really Validian agents trying to recruit the Diarmuid. When the high priestess protests against this, the Validians kill her in front of Diarmuid, causing him to seek revenge on humanity. 19:34 Boss: Kaleb, Cole, Brutus, Jake They're really strong and Brutus in particular can counterattack. If the battle is too hard, forget about stealing from them, since they don't have anything that unique anyways. 24:30 Negotiating with Diarmuid The mayor will give you permission to take a boat to Diarmuid's lair. Fortunately, the party will be able to convince Diarmuid to stay his wrath. He also doesn't seem to mind if you take some of his treasure, including the Helm of Highwater. Don't forget to find Sulfur in this dungeon, since you can give it and Manurial Soil to an NPC in Shaketown for Black Powder. 29:43 Yen's Pretty Sus You can get charts for Dibbledorf from an NPC in one of the NW houses of Ilbed. Yen wants the party to rest at the inn, but in the middle of the night, he wakes up everyone and reveals he's an impostor. Why didn't he just kill us in our sleep? 32:28 Boss: Omniel the Faceless One He can transform into party members and use their abilities. As Pots, he's really annoying because he can steal your speed. Still, he's balanced so that he's fairly easy even without food buffs, which you probably won't have because the inn erases food buffs when healing you. 42:06 Traveling to Dibbledorf You can now take the ship south of Ilbed to get to Dibbledorf's island. On the way to Dibbledorf, you'll find a cave where you'll only encounter robots. This could simplify the task of grinding, since all enemies have a unified weakness. 48:02 Boss: Securion & Mercurion, first attempt This attempt went poorly both because I had Furi equipped with the wrong staff and because I focused too much on one robot. When one falls, the other spams a powerful AOE laser move. 55:24 Robot Duo, the correct way To win the correct way, you should damage them evenly to prevent them from using their AOE laser. However, they have different elemental weaknesses, with Securion being weak to thunder and space while Mercurion is weak to ice, water, and space. 56:58 Dibbledorf The gnomes will finally realize you're on their side. Meet with their leader, Algar, to learn that Hadriel has already taken the Flyer and kidnapped their crew.
