At six years old, you don’t know exactly where life will take you, but you likely have an idea of the person you want to become. In her talk, Heather Evans discusses how her unexpected path into entrepreneurship aligns well with the person she hoped to become at age six, even if it wasn’t the path she had imagined for herself. Throughout her talk, she explains why it is important to be open to new opportunities and be prepared to change - and how it is possible to design your life to be more open to reinvention. Heather Evans is an undergraduate student from the Smith School of Business. She has represented Canada at International Business Conferences in Germany, Switzerland, the United States as well as at the United Nations. Although she never grew up thinking she would become an entrepreneur, she is starting her second company through Canada’s Next 36 program. The first, Mosaic Manufacturing.
