Intro 1 Basic Networking Router Part 1
This is the first video in a series of tutorials on Cloud. Specifically Clouds built on Openstack. It assumes NO KNOWLEDGE of networks or Linux which Openstack is based on. In this series we start from the very beginning.. Basic dhcp and ip tcp networks, addressing. Then move on to installing and configuring a basic LAMP web server. We install and configure Ubuntu 12.04, mySQL, Apache2 (web server) and PHP and create a very basic web site on our new webserver. Showing every command as we go. Finally in the series, we show how to create a lab environment inside our Openstack based cloud. As the series progresses we will build a complete multi tier web server & back-end database. Our environment will include muliple web servers hosting a Wordpress website and will show you step by step installation of wordpress, configuring a load balancer pool to balance web traffic accross many servers. We will setup multiple virtual networks including a back-end network that connects the web servers to a seperate MySQL database server.
