Hearthstone One Night in Karazhan: Priest deck for Heroic Big Bad Wolf (2016)

The Big Bad Wolf is a hero from the One Night in Karazhan solo adventure. In heroic mode, he can be a tough opponent if you go in without a good strategy. But once you do, this is a really fun battle that you'll want to play again and again :) The thing about the Heroic Wolf is that he has 1-cost minions the same as you with the difference that his don't become 1/1 minions when played and retain their original specs. However, what is particularly problematic are the initial 3 Kindly Grandmothers on the board. Coupled with the two Power of the Wilds he has laying around, he can flood the board with minions and attack you relentlessly. The strategy to beat him is to somehow get around the 1/1 limitation that your minions suffer from as well as killing all his initial minions. The board clears can be best done with deathrattle cards such as Unstable Ghoul and Abomination which are additionally also taunt minions and thus prevent face damage. And if you have Baron Rivendare in your deck, these two minions will be doubly effective. Getting around the 1/1 limitation, can be done in a number of ways. One is to play minions which summon other minions. The summoned minions are not affected by the 1/1 restriction. Second is to use Priest's Resurrect spell to resurrect dead minions; these minions reappear at full strength. Third is to use Kel'Thuzad to perform the resurrection. Things to keep in mind: * Watch out for the Swipes that the Wolf can use to kill lots of 1/1 minions. * If you have an Unstable Ghoul on Turn 1 without the Abomination to play on Turn 2, play something else or wait for the right time. Killing the Kindly Grandmothers will result in three 3/2 minions on the board which can quickly grow out of control if you don't have the right minions to play on turn 2. Ideal mulligan: * Unstable Ghoul * Abomination * Baron Rivendare An early draw of Wobbling Runts will also provide great value. Alternatives include minions such as Ravaging Ghoul, Dark Iron Skulker, and Baron Geddon. Even Ragnaros could be effective if used at the right time. If you're missing a number of cards, another opening strategy could be to drop Feugen and Stalagg and then keep healing/buffing Thaddius and perhaps giving him taunt. I've also added snippets of a couple of other (successful) tries with this same deck to show that mulligans can vary but still be quite effective. Good luck :)
